Description
The TB840A is an optical cluster modem for redundant optical ModuleBus communication in the S800 I/O system. It is installed on Module Termination Units TU840, TU841, TU848, or TU849. Use TU807 for single (non-redundant) configuration. The TB840A is used with AC 800M controllers and supports Hot Configuration In Run, HART pass-through, and Sequence of Events (SOE). It enables communication between the Fieldbus Communication Interface module and remote I/O clusters via optical fiber. Installation on vertical DIN rail.
